National Council of Women display

I've been passing the NCW's HQ on South Terrace for years and never knew it was there! Good to see Adelaide Meitke's story told along with other significant women in SA's history. History is Herstory too!

Re: National Council of Women display

So pleased you visited the display. The history of The Penguin Club (a Public Speaking Club for Women), The SA College of Midwives and The Girl Guides were on display as well as historical items from the National Council of Women. These displays were lovingly presented by women who have reason to be proud of the past and present efforts of their members, in serving the women of South Australia for many years. Where would we women be without such dedication?
