In 1924 the University of Adelaide established the Waite Agricultural Research Institute on the Urrbrae estate bequeathed to the University by pastoralist Peter Waite. Yvonne Routledge and Lynette Zeitz will talk about the impact of the Institute's first Director, Arnold Richardson, in developing the Institute and the history of 'The Waite' in the last 50 years.
