History Week and Reconciliation Week

Following the annual Aboriginal Veterans’ Commemorative Service at the State War Memorial on North Terrace, History SA, Reconciliation SA and Veterans SA hosted a morning tea at the Drill Hall, Torrens Parade Ground.

Who is that man?

This year’s History Week printed program features images of people: South Australians at home, at work, at play, abroad – and a few visitors passing through the State. One image in particular has been the topic of much discussion; that of W King featured on page 25.

History Week is finally here!

History Week is finally here! The first Friday of the program kicked off with 107 events across South Australia, including ABC 891 Adelaide broadcasting live from Rundle Mall at the Motoring in the Mall event.

We have launched!

SA History Week 2010 was officially launched by the Lord Mayor of Adelaide Michael Harbison on Wednesday night (7/05/2010). The Lord Mayor hosted a wonderful reception in the magnificent Queen Adelaide Room in the Adelaide Town Hall.
