Following the annual Aboriginal Veterans’ Commemorative Service at the State War Memorial on North Terrace, History SA, Reconciliation SA and Veterans SA hosted a morning tea at the Drill Hall, Torrens Parade Ground. As part of the morning tea, Reconciliation SA’s new education pack, Forgotten Heroes: Honouring the Service and Sacrifice of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples was launched. The event concluded with a question and answer session for school students with three Indigenous Vietnam Veterans.
